HLW’s multidisciplinary approach brings a bold new brand identity to life through architecture, experience, and environmental design.
A prototype roll-out starts with the first debut location in Florida. Given a fresh brand identity, HLW was tasked to pull together a multidisciplinary team to ensure the new brand vision is perfectly executed from concept through construction. This included key partnership with brandx for signage and wayfinding, and BEYOND for defining a path to LEED Silver.
Starting with a comprehensive two-month visioning and schematic design phase, a physical rendition of the brand concept was developed through workshops with stakeholders and the client’s brand agency. This phase was not site-specific but foundational for the development of design guidelines, a branding package of architectural and signage elements. HLW serves as the architect of record for prototype sites. Our responsibilities encompass full design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration services in partnership with the consultant and general contractor team.
Beyond the new prototype locations, HLW acts as the design architect and consultant for retrofit sites, managing design-build projects with local vendors to ensure seamless integration and execution of the new brand concept across multiple locations and varying levels of intervention.
