Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC
A bold new headquarters that reflects heritage, fosters innovation, and elevates the employee experience.

Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC’s new 178,000-square-foot headquarters atop New Jersey’s second-tallest tower represents more than just a relocation—it’s a reaffirmation of the firm’s deep-rooted commitment to Jersey City. After decades at 90 Hudson Street, the firm has embraced a forward-thinking workspace within the iconic Goldman Sachs Tower, designed to enhance employee engagement, showcase their work, and provide an inspiring environment for both staff and visitors.
The architectural vision centers around a destination-based planning strategy, creating a dynamic flow between spaces for performance, connection, and rejuvenation. The lower floors house a suite of amenities—including a fitness studio, café, game room, and interconnecting stairs—designed to foster well-being and collaboration. To highlight the firm’s expertise, the top floor features an open trading floor with sweeping Hudson River views, while a carefully curated visitor path weaves through framed moments and layered design elements, culminating in a heritage library and a striking double-height event space.
Sustainability and wellness are embedded throughout, with the project achieving LEED v4 ID+C Platinum certification and pursuing ILFI Zero Carbon and WELL v2 Gold. Through purposeful design and innovative planning, Lord Abbett’s new headquarters creates a workplace that not only honors the firm’s legacy but positions it for the future.
