Johanna Devia serves as Principal and Studio Director in HLW’s New York office, where she provides strategic leadership and oversees project delivery from initial programming through post-occupancy. With a strong foundation in corporate interiors, she brings both technical expertise and design insight to her work, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and consultants. Since joining HLW in 2017, she has contributed to major projects for clients including Comcast and Google, and continues to lead high-profile accounts such as Bain & Company, MetLife, Citadel, and New York Life.
Appointed Studio Director in 2021, Johanna has played a key role in shaping studio operations while also driving firmwide initiatives as part of HLW’s Project Management Task Force, improving processes, consistency, and training across global teams. Known for her organization, professionalism, and collaborative energy, she fosters strong client relationships and high-performing teams, consistently delivering successful project outcomes.
